5 Great Places Where You Can Get The Full Thanksgiving Dinner Experience Today

It is one of the most important dates in the American calendar – a time to get the family together and eat a ton of delicious food. While it isn’t that big of a deal here in Ireland, we found five places going all out today.

Why wait for the big Christmas dinner itself when you can get some much needed eating practice in today instead?! This will also win you brownie points if you bring any friends from the States out for Thanksgiving dinner.

Never mind that it has nothing to do with us and just focus on the delicious food instead…

1. Beaufield Mews

Lovely restaurant in a loft in Stillorgan that do a great job on Thanksgiving with a quiz and spot prizes to accompany the meal. The food is to die for but they are nearly sold out so jump in quickly!

2. The Merry Ploughboy

A popular spot with American tourists wanting to see Irish dancing and traditional Irish music. They are dedicating the venue entirely to Thanksgiving for the day, with a full menu and a great night in store.

3. Hilton Hotel Charelmont Place

These guys are hosting the “American Democrats Abroad” dinner tonight – stunning setting and all the food below for a mere €30, you’d be stupid not to go!

4. The Woolshed

This is the place to go if you are into the NFL and American sports. They have all the football on as well as American food, and an American table quiz. Get ready for a heavy evening of drinking here!

5. The Fitzwilliam Hotel

This spot is just perfect – right in the heart of the city, surrounded by the lovely Christmas lights on Grafton Street and plenty of places to pop in for a pint after. They place a big emphasis on the food which looks absolutely superb.
