Check Out The Revamped Look And New Menu From Eden On South William Street

fiodhna_hm

Eden on South William Street has had a little bit of a makeover.

Previously known purely for its fine dining, late last week they launched a new Victorian casual dining bar at the front of the venue. The restaurant at the rear will continue to serve the usual haute cuisine dining you’d expect, with Ossobucco and Stonebass, Grenoble style, steaks and much more, but the front will have a more relaxed atmosphere.

The newly launched bar has a seriously cool them which runs throughout – super-comfy ’50s armchairs, Parisian enamelled tables, tasselled lighting fixtures, 1920s dancehall sounds and a late Victorian cocktail bar originally held up by Van Morrison in Belfast, where it was sourced.

Their new drinks menu has a lengthy list of old-world cocktails as well as heaps of craft beers. The bar will also serve an all-day snacks menu made for sharing – plenty of upmarket platters such as pink salmon gravadlax, beef carpaccio and potted crab.

This is bar food with a difference – you won’t find any greasy chips and goujons here (although there is a pail of fish and chips on the menu, if sharing’s not really your thing!), just really good food at a reasonable price. If you’re around town this week and looking for a quick bite, do pop in and try out the new menu..
