Watch This Wonderful Speech On Gay Rights By Dustin Lance Black In UCD

He’s an Oscar winner and activist for gay rights in America – and when Dustin Lance Black visited Dublin this week, it was to receive an award for his work from the Law Society in UCD.

He also used the occasion to deliver the following passionate speech ahead of the referendum in May saying that the vote actually scares him because basic rights like that shouldn’t even have to be put to a vote. It’s certainly a passionate talk and one that will make hairs stand up on many a neck.
