If you’re anything like us, observant Catholics but kinda lazy, then you must tune into RTÉ One’s Sunday Mass religiously (sorry). If you were watching this morning, you may have noticed some new additions to the show: two puppets were presenting.
It appears that the Church is now making massive strides in its inclusion of new clergy, as two teddy bears with human hands inside them led proceedings today.
To mark Palm Sunday, and to help guide children through the ceremony, a donkey puppet and sheep puppet were employed. Not sure they covered this in the Second Vatican Council…

Anybody else think all Mass should be conducted by puppets? No? Just me then.
