Michael Carey, Chairman Bord Bia
Michael is Executive Chairman of ‘The Company of Food’, a specialist food investment business with shareholdings held in a number of private and public food companies. He is also current chairman of Bord Bia and chairman of the Grow Dublin Tourism Alliance.
Michael is non-executive chairman of Zaragoza Restaurant, a member of the Advisory Board of the Smurfit Graduate Business School, and non-executive director of Drury Porter Novelli PR. He is a judge on the EY Entrepreneur of the Year Awards, chairman of the judging panel for the Business Journalists Awards and a member of the board of both Traidlinks (a private sector NGO with activities in East Africa) and the Soul of Haiti Foundation.
Prior to his current roles he was majority shareholder and chairman of Jacob Fruitfield Food Group. He has held various senior management roles in the food industry including the Managing Director role at Kellogg’s UK/Ireland, Fox’s Biscuits, and Evian/Volvic (UK). He won the EY Industry Entrepreneur of the Year Award 2005 and Smurfit Graduate Business School Alumnus of the Year 2010.
Michael is married to Alison Cowzer and they have two daughters.
Ross Lewis, Chef and Co-Owner Chapter One
Ross Lewis is an Irish Michelin star-winning head chef and co-owner of the restaurant Chapter One. Lewis previously served as Commissioner General of Eurotoques from 2003 to 2005. In 2011, he was the head chef for the State Banquet during the State Visit of Queen Elizabeth II to Ireland. Prior to Chapter One Lewis has worked in Switzerland, London and the USA.
Garvan Smyth, Group Brand Manager Press Up Entertainment
Garvan leads brand development/management, digital & procurement amongst other things across Press Up Entertainment group. He's passionate about hospitality, leisure, fast casual concepts & emerging trends.
PEG is Ireland's leading leisure and hospitality group. It has interests in many sectors of the industry including hotels, restaurants, bars, nightclubs, music venues, retail & even a record store. It's brands include The Clarence Hotel, Dean Hotel, Captain America's, Wagamama, Vintage Cocktail club and Tower Records.

Stephen Teeling, Marketing Director Teeling Whiskey
Stephen Teeling is the Sales and Marketing Director of the Teeling Whiskey Company. He was previously a Commercial Manager in Cooley Distillery and was appointed Senior Global Marketing Manager for Irish whiskey in Beam in February 2012.
The Teeling Whiskey Company was founded by Jack Teeling in 2012 to bring back an independent voice to the Irish whiskey category. Stephen Teeling joined Jack in 2013 as Sales & Marketing Director and is a co-owner in the business. The Teeling Whiskey Company aims to be Ireland’s leading independent Irish whiskey producer driving category choice and innovation through a selection of unique handcrafted small batch Irish whiskeys.
Noel Kinsella, Founder SalesFinesse
Noel has held Senior Sales and Marketing positions for over 25 years with 2 great Global FMCG companies S C Johnson and Mars Ireland. Noel established Salesfinesse in 2004 offering Successful Sales Solutions to some 35 Major FMCG Companies.
Since 2004 he has been running the unique NAM Foundation Programme the most comprehensive National Account Management Programme available to almost 600 NAMs and Buyers in Ireland and the UK.
He has mentored and directly been involved in launching global food products. In Aug 2013 he returned as Head of National Accounts for Lucozade Ribena Suntory and as a member of the Leadership team guided the Company out of GSK and assisted the Company in establishing itself as a major player in the Soft Drinks Market with a desire to Revolutionise the category in Ireland.
Arun Kapil Founder Green Saffron
Arun Kapil is an Anglo-Indian food entrepreneur, spice expert, and founder of Green Saffron – multi-award-winning purveyors of the finest spices, rice and sauces.
He regularly appears on Ireland's TV3, where he has a cookery segment on 'Late Lunch Live' and recently appeared on BBC 1 with Paul Hollywood on 'Pies & Puds'.
Colin Harmon, Managing Director, 3fe Coffee
Colin set up 3fe in 2009 starting with a small espresso machine in his kitchen, a list of coffee forums on the internet, and a desire to learn as much as he could.
He is now a Four time Irish Barista Champion, four time World Barista Championship finalist and owner of 3fe coffee who operate a cafe and a roastery right here in Dublin.
