LovinBox 9 – The Cellar Bar

Carefully tucked away in the Merrion Hotel, The Cellar Bar is something of a hidden gem. With a gorgeous chilled out atmosphere, it’s one of our favourite places to relax with a glass of wine and the food is every bit as gorgeous too. The Cellar Bar Super Salad:

Lemon and thyme marinated free-range chicken breast, served on a salad of baby spinach, pomegranate, feta cheese, quinoa, pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, sesame seeds and broad beans. Drizzled with a dressing of Udo’s Oil and cider vinegar.

The Super Salad was the creation of Charlotte Costello – the winner of a competition with Udo’s Oil to create a new dish for the menu at The Merrion. Such was the popularity of the salad that The Cellar Bar has been serving it ever since!
