Its that time of year again where people dress up and wrap their house in that weird white shit to make everything look scary...

These recipes all look gross, but they taste absolutely delicious... You better not be squeamish!

1. These little bats are uber cute and perfect for the kids with the best news being that they are actually healthy and packed full of protein!

2. Scare the life out of children with this fake graveyard which is in fact nothing more than a chocolate cheesecake dip!

4. Little monster mouths that have been made out of apples and which are actually quite healthy for kids as well.

5. A fun halloween candy bark that has pairs of eyes peaking out at you. Super easy to make too.

6. You normally think of halloween recipes as being sweet but this is a brilliant and unique take on ramen that will ensure your kids eat all their dinner!

7. A spooky low calorie punch that is the perfect thing to serve up at the table for a dramatic effect alongside all the sweet stuff.

8. Sweet potato cupcakes with meringue ghosts are clearly going to scare people, but will also be delicious!

9. Kids love cookies. Kids also love monsters so put the two together and you have these awesome treats.

10. Another one for the younger people in the house with these cool shepherd's pie stuffed peppers.

11. Probably the easiest on the list but the most convincing - try these stuffed mashed potato monsters!

12. A quick little trick for those short of time is to make these apple pie mummy slices.

13. You'll have to translate this one as the recipe is in a different language, but you get the idea that using nuts and biscuits can make you think like you are eating very realistic fingers!

15. You'll want to be seriously talented to take these on as they were created by a professional baker but the end result is a super realistic lung! Yuck!!

16. These little fellows are cute rather than scary but well worth a go making to see the smile on your guests' faces.

17. You'll need to get up early but you can scare the family first thing by making these pumpkin pancakes with black sugar syrup!
