Dublin has some pretty insane bars right now and with a deadly venue often comes an interesting menu. Sometimes I find myself looking at a cocktail menu and freaking out because there's just too much choice and I order the safe option.
Recently however, I've taken it upon myself to discover Dublin's best cocktails. I've tried my fair share and have now compiled them into a gorge alphabetical list for you guys to explore - Ideal.

Absinthe Sour - The Sitting Room
This citrusy drink is sure to blow your socks off, it's pretty darn strong.
Made from French Absinthe, Unripe Grape Juice, Cherry, Honey, Egg White, this lil beauty costs €12.
Bathtub Gin Time - Candlelight Bar
This is one of my favourite cocktails ever.
Everything about it screams goals. It's made from Hendricks Gin, orange Curacaos, Fever Tree Elderflower tonic, lemon juice and a lavender rose foam. The bespoke cocktail is made to share and is ideal for two or three mates looking to try something a little different.
You even get to keep your rubber duck! YAY!
For 22 beans, this is seriously worth it.
Chaos - The Black Market
Upstairs in The Market Bar you'll find this intriguing cocktail spot.
This drink is made from Havana Club 3YO, Plymouth Sloe Gin, honey water, lime, mint, Hellfire bitters and a Talisker Mist. Shaken & served over crushed ice for €11.
Dirty Wizard - Vintage Cocktail Club
Chilli infused Ketel One Vodka, Gingerbread and Blackcurrant Liqueur, cranberry juice, fresh citrus, egg whites, with a ginger nut rim, berry skewer and a fresh mint sprig, this is the cocktail of dreams.
Espresso Martini - Roberta's
It's hard to find an espresso martini that stands out from the rest but when I tried this one I was blown away, it tastes just like a Terry's Chocolate Orange but it still has that bitter coffee kick.
It's made from Ketel One Oranje, Coffee Liquor, coffee, sugars and orange zest and costs €11.
Ferrero Rocher - Urchin
This beauty is nutty, chocolatey, creamy and delicious, without being too heavy on the stomach. It is the perfect way to drink dessert!

Gazelle - The Liquor Rooms
A mix of Gosling’s Black Seal, Xante,ginger, lime, raspberry, pineapple and Soda Water.
For €11, you can't go wrong.
Hop Along - The Lucky Duck
This drink is a modern twist on the grasshopper using Johnny Walker Black Label, Fernet Branca, White Chocolate & Kaffir. It's served over block ice with a fragrant mint sprig and makes for the perfect companion to your post dinner chats. ????
Indian Summer - 9 Below
A light, crisp balance of Tanqueray No.TEN, Framboise, Fino Sherry, vanilla syrup, topped with Champagne. This cocktail is full of flavour and always a winner.
Jammy Venezuelan - Chelsea Drugstore
The Chealsea Drugstore know how to make the perfect rum old fashioned. Made from Diplomatico Reserve, orange marmalade, Mozart Chocolate Bitters with an Orange Chocolate & Coffee Bean Smoke, this decadent cocktail has a stunningly unique flavour.
You'll nab this lil number for €11.50.
Key Lime Pie - Peruke & Periwig
This cocktail is a tasty mashup of Absolute Vanilla, Absolute Citron, Lemon, Lemonade Meringue Foam and a biscuity rim. It's sure to set your taste buds dancing.
Lavender Eliyx - Café en Seine
Lavender in a cocktail? Noootions, you say.
Lavender is known for it's tranquil effects, so if it's a nightcap you're after this could be the perf one.

It's sweet, sour and proper lush.
Queen Wolf - Liquor Rooms
Step down the stairs into one of the best venues for cocktails in Dublin. The seductive lighting and warm surroundings will make you never want to leave. At €11 this is one of the best drinks in town

Rhubarb Tart - Fade Street Social
This vodka based cocktails is made from Absolut Vanilla, fresh lemon juice, rhubarb purée, rosemary sugar and rhubarb bitters.

Smoked Old Fashioned - The Exchequer
Maple-cured, bitter and smokey flavours - This is a classic take on a Smoked Old Fashioned. The popular bar has won a number of awards through the years for their deadly food and whopper cocktails.
It's also just a class place to kick back and have a few scoops with your mates.
Obsessed with how this cocktail is served, simply stunning.
Tale of Genji - Bonsai
This unique cocktail is insane.
Oolong & lime infused Absolut vodka shaken with Japanese winter melon liqueur, freshly squeezed lime juice, tonka syrup and pimento dram, finished with melon & coco Juice.
Unbeetable - Camden Exchange
Made from Ketel One vodka, beetroot and ginseng infusion, ferent-branca, black rasperbby liqueur, fresh lime juice, pineapple juice and sours, this drink is sure to excite you.
It really is unbeatable.
Violet Beauregarde - Coppinger Row
Just like the character from Charlie And The Chocolate Factory, this cocktail is bright purple.
This must be tried.
Whiskey Sour - Izakaya
The best of the best, Izakaya's whiskey sours are the stuff of legends. This is the strong, saporous bevvie you've been looking for.
X-Rated - Peruke & Periwig
A deadly take on a Porn-Star Martini, this cocktail is made from Absolut Pear Vodka, lychee, passionfruit, pineapple and apple juice with a side of prosecco.
Yer Man's Tai - Farrier & Draper
Zacapa 23, white rum, cointreau, amaretto, kaffir lime leaf syrup, pink grapefruit juice, angostrua bitters. Sure look, it's bleedin' deadly.
