Here’s Where To Get Your Mulled Wine Festive Fix In Dublin This Christmas

Kiara Keane

Is there anything better than being curled up in a warm, cosy pub with a mulled wine in front of you this time of year? It’s the perfect winter warmer and we can’t think of many other things we’d rather be doing at the end of a long day.

That’s why we’ve made a list of the best places to settle in with some good company and a gorge mulled wine this festive season – now to pick one and get in out of that cold…

Street 66

They’ve got a whole menu of festive drinks including hot port and hot buttered whiskey as well as the all-important mulled wine. The best part of all? It’s a dog-friendly bar. Settle in and prepare to feel incredibly festive.

Fallon & Byrne

This foodie haven is once again serving up the spiced drink in their wine cellar on Exchequer Street. The perfect place to warm yourself up with a hot tipple and one of their mince pies.

Fire Restaurant

Their snazzy lounge is a great spot for after work-drinks with a difference. They’ve got an extensive cocktail menu as well as their gorgeous mulled wine with all the bells and whistles.

Bar Rua

Is it even Christmas if you don’t stop in here for a drink at least once at some point? Enjoy a homemade mulled wine in the unique and very Christmassy surroundings of Bar Rua and you’ll be feeling in the festive spirit in no time.

Yuleyard

Eatyard at the Bernard Shaw has been given a Christmassy makeover and they’ve got their very own Winter Warmer’s bar serving up mulled wine, hot whiskeys and even hot beer. Well worth a visit this winter.

The Shelbourne Hotel

The best thing about the delightful mulled wine from here is that it’s not just a festive addition to their menu, they actually serve it year-round. They also do hot port and Christmas-themed cocktails – cheers to that.

IFI Café Bar

Settle down to watch a film at the IFI with a lovely cup of mulled wine or stop in to their café bar afterwards to gossip over the film you’ve just seen. Heaven.

Urchin Bar, Cliff Townhouse

Their Christmas Shopping Pitstop is the perfect thing to break up your day in town. Choose between mulled wine or hot port (or wine or beer for the less festive among us) along with their ham croquettes any day from 12pm to 5pm.
