With the increasing shortage in cultural space in Dublin, this is a great cause.
The Hen’s Teeth is a gallery, studio, art and lifestyle store that have set up a crowdfunding page to help complete a new cultural space in Dublin.
The independent cultural organisation has now found a permanent home. However, facing a second move in less than two years, Hen’s Teeth is looking for support.
Here is the space as it stands now:
Speaking on the matter, Rosie Gogan-Keogh & Greg Spring of Hen’s Teeth said that “we’re in a hugely exciting time in Dublin culture and more broadly across our whole island.
There are more artists, musicians, curators and cultural innovators of world standard than ever before, and increasingly, these people are realising they can stay in Ireland to achieve their dreams.
At the same time, more and more cultural spaces are closing and property is at a premium.
In the midst of this, we want Hen’s Teeth to be a ray of light and we promise to give back to the creative community, continue to provide a platform for emerging artists to exhibit work, perform and create, to invite renowned international artists over, to help continue to inspire our own creative community.”
They are looking for €40,000 to complete the new space and offering some rewards for your support like limited edition t-shirts and prints, vouchers to spend in-store worth 15% more than you pay and an exclusive private dinner with a leading Irish chef.
They have almost reached €10,000 and you can help by donating here.
