It is the perfect autumnal day out there for People’s Park Sunday market

Alan Fisher

This is my favorite Sunday market around.

Especially on a day like today.

The sun is shining bright, and still radiates a bit of heat, but the cool autumnal air would give you chills.

On top of that, the colors of the leaves are magical and that’s why I’m recommending the market in People’s Park, Dun Laoghaire.

Wrap up in your jacket, hat, and scarf and head down to get some grub.

The great thing about this is that you can do it pre or post a long walk down the pier.

I love the fact you can walk around and get different bits and here are a few of my favorite:

1) Coffee

First thing is first.

I know it’s not very market like but this cute Fallon & Byrne lies in the People’s Park and is my preference for a flat white.

Or if you fancy a little walk, I would head down and get a flat white from Hatch, which is probably my favorite coffee shop.

2) The Irish Charcoal BBQ

You can pretty much smell this bad boy the minute you step foot in the park.

If you are in the mood for a burger, stop here and taste the mouth-watering flame-grilled beef.

So tasty.

3) Roy’s Gourmet Sausages

This is definitely the place I go to the most.

It’s like a Michelin star hotdog.

Topped with grilled onions and peppers, mustard and ketchup.

You will not regret this.

4) Crêpes

On a day like today, when it’s a little cold, a crêpe filled with Nutella and strawberries is the answer for me.

5) Arctic Stone

Ok, it may not be the warmest day for some ice cream but, Arctic Stone is just too good.

Hand-rolled ice cream with your favorite toppings is never a bad idea.
