Hopefully we'll all be delighted with the outcome of Ireland v France game on Saturday, and if so what better way to celebrate than with some traditional French cuisine? We've put together a list of some delicious French restaurants around town for you to check out by way of celebration.
10. La Maison
You've probably walked past it a billion times and not even realised that inside is the best paté you'll ever taste outside of France.
9. La Mère Zou
Fantastic organic meats from their butcher's corner, and traditional dishes like Pot au Feu of Rabbit - La Mère Zou is the real deal.
This restaurant on Dame Street has been around for years, and their cheeseboards are a thing of beauty.
Both the food and the interior in this restaurant meant it had to make the list, absolutely gorgeous spot.
The decor in here is so warm and welcoming, the food is top notch, and they do a French brunch at weekends - really tasty!
5. Chez Max
They've got three different locations across town, and serve up some of the most delicious meals you will ever taste. Portions are huge, food is hearty and the atmosphere is perfect.
Cosy restaurant in the basement of a building on Kildare Street - seriously fine dining with great experimentation of contrasting flavours in dishes.
This place makes you feel like you're chilling in some Parisian café, with amazing posters all over the walls and staff so French they just walked off the Champs-Elysées.
This great bistro in Ballsbridge is a must for any fan of French cuisine, their early bird menu is insane value, and the standard of food is super high.
While it is obviously the priciest location on the list, it had to come in at first place considering it has been open for over 30 years, and is the only restaurant in Ireland with two Michelin stars. Top quality grub and insanely pretty presentation.
