These Are The 10 Things Dubliners Say You Have To Eat And Drink In The City In 2015

So last night we held Dublin’s Finest aawards which celebrated some of the very best that the city has to offer…

Our team of judges and over 20,000 Dubliners cast their votes and we had some very worthy winners. To highlight some of the amazing work the winner have all been doing we thought we’d put together this wicked little list (in no particular order) of dishes to try.

According to you guys, when it comes to Dublin it doesn’t get any better than this!

Fire Restaurant – The Roast

These guys ran away with two of the big awards last night, including best restaurant. Conisdering we’re in the throes of winter, we’d suggest their roast dinner which is the work of a genius.

Farmer Browns – The Brunch

Everything on the menu here is seriously tasty, so you’ll want to come with a huge appetite. But, the burger would be a great place to start!

Steak – Featherblade

These guys were the winners of best newcomers, and very well deserved. Dinner at Featherblade is one of the nicest meals you’ll have in the capital these days. Go with the signature Featherblade steak, obviously.

Boojum – Burrito

You only have to walk past any lunchtime and see the length of the queues to know what Dubliners think of this spot. This is their second year in a row winning Dublin’s Finest Lunch award.

P. Mac’s – A nice creamy pint

One of the coolest pubs in the capital, their devoted customers made sure of the big win. Grab a board game and a couple of pints in this cosy spot.

Coffee Angel – Any of their coffees

They’ve been at the very forefront of improving coffee all across the city over the past few years. With three locations, wonderful staff and great coffee you can take your pick knowing you’re getting the very best.

Bunsen – The Classic

Was there any doubt that Bunsen would win the best burger in the city?! People love them and the chain just keeps on growing.

Richie Wilson – The Set Menu

Voted as the best Chef in Dublin by our readers, who are we to pick just one of the dishes Richie makes in Fire? Get in early for a great set menu, or else one of the best Christmas menus in town during December.

Base Wood Fried Pizza – Your Favourite Topping

No point us telling you which pizza to get exactly as the choice is obviously personal. What you will get at Base is gorgeous takeaway pizza so delicious it seems like it could actually be good for you?

The Shelbourne – Afternoon Tea

Given that you probably live in Dublin, you might not have a need to stay overnight but a bit of afternoon tea and a couple of drinks in the famous bar are a must in this wonderful hotel.
