Five Of The Best Walk/Brunch Combos In Dublin

Alan Fisher

Sundays are for eating good food and a little stroll to feel fresh.

There are plenty of places for brunch and walks in Dublin but if you can get them in the same vicinity of each other, you’re laughing.

Here are five of the best walk/brunch combos in Dublin:

1) The Grind – Howth Cliff Walk

Up there with the best pancakes in Dublin, The Grind is a place you’ve got to check out.

And of course, it’s partnered up with the most scenic walk in Dublin – the Howth cliff walk.

2) Dun Laoghaire Market – The Pier

Not just one place, but a host of places to choose from when you visit the market.

I always ended up getting a hotdog but there are so many options to choose from along with decent coffee.

If you fancy sitting down for food before taking on the pier, you could always jump into Fallon & Byrne which is located in People’s Park as well.

3) Storyboard – Phoenix Park

This place has endless options when it comes to food and they do a mean coffee.

And straight after, you can spend the day getting lost in Phoenix Park and maybe even check out the zoo.

4) Happy Out – Bull Island

This simple little spot is arguably my favourite of the lot as you can pop in when you get halfway down your walk.

Grab one of the toasties, maybe a little treat and a takeaway coffee for the rest of your walk.

5) The Lovely Food Co – Bushy Park

Based in Terenure, The Lovely Food Co offers some delightful brunch options and you are just a stone’s throw from Bushy Park.

You can also shoot some hoops Justin Bieber style if you’re up for it.
