Lovin Dublin & Opsh present: #GirlBoss Bookclub

Nicola

We’ve said it time and time again, there is no better place to be young, creative or in business right now than Dublin. Start up and entrepreneurial fever are sweeping the city, we’ve attracted the likes of Facebook and Google but nurtured amazing homegrown talent like Intercom and Soundwave. Regular readers will know we’ve been working with Opsh over the last few months to bring their fantastic fashion knowledge to the Lovin Dublin community. Founded by the awesome Mc Ginn sisters, Opsh promises to change the way we shop online for good and is the perfect example of entrepreneurial spirit in bucketloads.

INVITE-3

So when they approached us to run the first ever book club with the theme #GirlBoss we couldn’t wait to get stuck in. Women in business are really coming to the forefront, while there is still an obvious gender imbalance, the tide is really starting to turn. Inspired by the kick ass autobiography ‘GirlBoss’ by Sophie Amoruso, we’re going to have a panel discussion on the journey from youngster to CEO and everything in between. The discussion will be chaired by Opsh CEO and co-founder Jennie McGinn, and we’ll be announcing an exciting line-up of entrepreneurial panelists soon.

Tickets are available here from Eventbrite and are €12.50 – tweet us using #GirlBoss to let us know you’re coming!
