This month, we’re giving away an amazing night for two in the Merrion Hotel, along with dinner and a specially chosen bottle of wine in The Cellar Bar. To find out more, and to vote for this story to win, see below!
Amy’s story
This story begins with a job interview that actually went really well.
The interviewer’s name was Mindy, and she emailed me later that same day to organise a second interview – to which I, naturally, enthusiastically replied.
Then, however, weeks went by and I hadn’t heard a word about finalising the second stage.
I couldn’t understand the radio silence…
until I went in to double-check I’d actually sent that reply… only to find that my iPhone had autocorrected Mindy’s name.
To ‘Minge’.
I did not get the job.
Want Amy to win?
We want this to be about the best story, and not just the best social media campaign for votes – so the winning entry will be decided by a combination of:
- Votes received on the form here
- The number of times each story is shared on Facebook
So share this story on Facebook, then click on the link to vote!
