John’s story

I walked into the interview room and shook hands with the manager – but it was all downhill from there.

He looked me up and down and said: “You’re not exactly the kind of guy we would hire”, then turned his lip up.

And then, somehow, I accidentally said “F**k you too.”

Out loud.

After a very long silence we sat and very awkwardly went through my CV after which he said they wouldn’t be calling me back.

I should probably have left at the beginning, to be honest.
