You’ve probably seen the awesome John Hammond ad from Guinness by now. If not, check it out above.
It tells the story of a music promoter and talent agent who didn’t let anything get in the way of his goal, bringing damn good music to the public. Hammond championed the potential of black and white musicians working together – and fighting this cause gave him a platform to make a difference.
That same spirit of ‘creative bravery’ is going to be celebrated at the Guinness Creative Summit taking place next Wednesday, February 24, at The Open Gate Brewery at St James’s Gate in Dublin.
And the good news? We’ve got two tickets to give away.
The event will feature some of Ireland’s most innovative musicians, artists and creators – who will take part in a panel-led discussion hosted by broadcaster John Kelly:
- Joe Caslin – Artist
- Jenny Wren – Body & Soul Music Booker
- Bren Byrne – Creative Director OFFSET
- Ruth McEntee – Head of YouTube and Display, Google Ireland
- Wiebke Hense – Brewer, St James’s Gate
So if that sounds like the sort of thing you fancy, you know what to do…
