€1 Billion Amazon Data Centre Campus In The Works For Dublin

Amazon has plans to build a €1 billion data centre campus in Dublin. 

According to Independent.ie, a data centre in Mulhuddart will cost roughly €200 million and take up to 18 months to complete, with construction starting this year. 

The company applied to Fingal County Council for the planning permission in Mulhuddart and an estimated future spend of another €700m is also on the cards for further developments. 

At the peak of the data centre’s construction it is believed 400 workers could be employed on the project.
