Fantastic News – 150 New Jobs Have Been Announced In Dublin

Sarah

Good news for techies in the city today, as it has been announced by The Irish Times that more than 150 jobs will be created at four North American and European technology companies who are establishing themselves in Dublin.

Hurrah!

The new jobs are being created by technology companies working in the software-as-a-service (SaaS) area, with roles available in a wide range of services, like software engineering, research and development, sales and customer support.

Passreader, a technology company that has developed a popular digital content platform with headquarters in Vancouver, is to create 65 jobs over the next few years across research and development, multilingual business development, sales and marketing, management and administration.

Santa Cruz software firm Looker, which deals with a data analytics tool, is to bring 50 jobs across sales, marketing, professional services and support. The jobs will be created in the next three years as the company opens its new European headquarters in Dublin.

ThinkSmart, which is based in San Francisco, is a provider of business process and workflow automation software, and is also opening an office in Dublin. They plan to take on 20 people in sales, customer and support roles.

Finally, London-based ArtofUs, will hire 18 people. The company has developed a “human operating system” for the Internet of Things (IoT) market.

Great news for any worker-bees in the technology field.
