7 Gorge Places To Grab A Bite If You’re Heading To The Dublin Horse Show This Weekend

Alana Laverty

The Dublin Horse Show has been in full swing for the last few days in Ballsbridge.

And this weekend is shaping up to be the best of the lot.

But don’t go hungry pet, there are an abundance of gorgeous eateries in close distance of the RDS. Here are seven of our personal faves.

1. Farmer Browns

They serve brunch from 10am until 4pm on Saturday and Sunday, which is ideal, and you can also grab dinner from 6pm until late.

Located on Bath Avenue, you can stroll on over to the show after.

2. The Exchequer

Our fave wine bar, The Exchequer in Ranelagh, are offering up some unreal food and cocktails for those galavanting with horses for the weekend.

How good does this look?

3. Base

Easy, quick and absolutely divine – Base is right across the RDS so you won’t be missing out on any of the action.

You can get a 13″ pizza with a salad and two drinks for €22.50. Not too shabby.

4. Forest Avenue

This beautiful restaurant on Sussex Terrace is the perfect place if you’re feeling a lil fancy.

They serve brunch, lunch ‘n’ dinner. Sorted.

5. The Lobster Pot

Amazing chowder, mussels, steaks and, of course, lobster.

The lobster of your dreams.

6. Maia

Simple, good food. Exactly what you need for an action-packed day.

Maia is just up from the Aviva s0 escape from the RDS madness for a while and stretch yo legs.

7. The Bridge 1859

Last but certainly not least, is The Bridge

Their takeout menu is faaaaab. From quinoa salads to roast beef sambos, all delicious. Throw in a soup, chowder or chips for a few yoyos.
