3. Perseid Meteor Shower
If you were keen to save some money this weekend and just hang out at home – then your plans have just gotten cooler, as a huge meteor shower, which will be visible from Dublin, is set to take over the skies this very evening.

4. Great Gatsby Party @ IMMA
One of Europe’s biggest vintage parties is kicking off this weekend at the glorious gardens and great hall of the Royal Hospital Kilmainham, Dublin 8.
Expect bubbles, flapper dresses and G&Ts.
1920s dress is expected in outdoor-indoor ritzy Roaring Twenties Summer party, with Gatsby’s chauffeur meeting you at the gate and bringing you to the manicured lawns for G&Ts, bowls, croquet and a bit of Charleston in the sunshine before heading indoors for the cat’s meow of summer parties.
5. Back To The Future Trilogy Marathon
Marty McFly fans – this is the big break you’ve been waiting for.
Join the rest of Dublin’s Back To Future fanatics as The Lighthouse Cinema plays all three films, back to back, to separate the men from the boys.
Kicking off at 3pm on Saturday – this is potentially the best hangover day you could’ve ever hoped for.
6. Cook Out @ The Bernard Shaw
Food, DJs, pints and dancing – all situated in the fine establishment that is the Bernard Shaw. Grub, shimmying and more kicks off at 3pm until late – with The Big Blue Bus also on offer for those keen for a pizza. More info here.

The Back Page’s deadly market kicks off again this weekend, with stalls at just €20 with a 25% discount for local vendors with a D7 or D11 address.
