The worst-kept secret in music was finally 'revealed' last night, when U2 confirmed they'd be playing the 3Arena later this year.

Tickets go on sale this Monday for the shows on November 23, 24, 27 and 28. And while we might spend most of the year cursing Bono in his infinite annoyingness, the fact is we kinda really want to go.

And here's why.

Where The Streets Have No Name, live in Croker in 1987

The massively underrated Kite at Slane

'This is not a rebel song' – Sunday Bloody Sunday at Live Aid

Vertigo – for those who say they've lost it

Pride of the Irish

Lighters in the air – One live at Slane

Oh, what a Beautiful Day...

We can't live With or Without them...
