Rock up to Dublin 7 wearing red and black and you’re sure to be met with some nods of appreciation.
Phibsboro is home to League Of Ireland giants Bohemian FC, and while Dalymount Park is probably the area’s most famous landmark, the Back Page has certainly given the grand old stadium a run for its money in recent years.
Never shy about showing support for its neighbours, the outside of the pub has now been decked out with a new mural depicting Father Ted’s Mrs. Doyle proudly wearing Bohs colours.
Ireland’s most famous housekeeper is accompanied by her iconic “go on” catchphrase although the words “my son” are notable by their absence.
Almost done 🔴⚫️ Big thanks to artist Niall O’L for doing & @onthebackpage for giving us a canvas – lots more @bfcdublin murals on the way to D7 in the coming weeks…
Mrs Doyle herself popped by yesterday & gave it her blessing ✊🏻

The work is the creation of Dublin artist Niall O’Lochlainn and we’re sure Mrs. Doyle herself would approve.
