A Dublin Café Posted A ‘Competition’ To Win A Mini Cooper, And It All Ended EXACTLY As You’d Expect

Looks like the folks at the White Moose Café have been up to their old tricks once again.

You’ll have heard of the Phibsborough eatery in the best, and it’s fair to say the public have a kind of a love/hate relationship with it.

The most recent stunt from the mastermind behind the café, Paul Stenson, has been a like and share competition on Facebook, showing a picture of a Mini Cooper with the White Moose logo on it.

Naturally people were calling bullshit on the competition from the get-go – here are a few of the remarks beneath the Facebook status.

It is a real mini. 100%. And so is the sticker. The competition is about the sticker, not the car. Start thinking people.

Dominik D.

Have a funny feeling there’s a catch but hey willing to take the chance.

Jacinta C.

It’s a model car, eh?

Lloyd W.

Stenson was quick to allay fears, however, claiming the competition is exactly as it appears.

Wow. The pic of the Mini Cooper has been shared over 700 times! This is despite all the negative nelly’s questioning the legitimacy of the competition and saying there is something ‘fishy’ going on.

Let me assure you, there is nothing ambiguous about this competition whatsoever. I have made it quite clear from the outset. It’s a REAL competition and there will be a REAL winner.

Take a look at the competition for yourself and see what you think.

Eagle-eyed readers might be able to spot what’s wrong with the above competition, but if you missed it this status announcing the winner should make everything clear…

Say what you will about the White Moose Café, they certainly know how to push people’s buttons.
