Would this be an improvement on Dustin The Turkey?

Fianna Fáil councillor Trevor Gilligan, who represents Clondalkin, has outlined his ambitions to represent Ireland at the 2018 Eurovision in Lisbon.

According to Dublin Live, Gilligan hopes his track 'Keep You Warm' will be selected as Ireland's song as we attempt to take home the top prize for the first time since 1996.

Gilligan said:

"One of the highest honours in music is representing Ireland in the Eurovision.

"To be involved in writing and composing a song for my country would be a dream come true."

Judging from the video below, Gilligan has a decent voice on him all the same. Have a listen and judge for yourselves.
