A Man Armed With A Gun Robbed A Dublin Spar Yesterday

A man in his mid 50s has been arrested following the robbery of a Spar in Ringsend yesterday.

The thief entered the Thorncastle Street shop around 5.40pm and was believed to be carrying a gun. He threatened workers before taking a sum of cash and fleeing the premises.

Gardai arrested a suspect close to the scene a short time later, seizing a firearm and money.
