A man in his 70s has died following a collision in Walkinstown at approximately 1.10pm this afternoon.
He was pronounced dead at the scene and was transported to Tallaght Hospital.
The four car collision happened on St Peters Road in Walkinstown and the road remains closed until further notice.

There were no other injuries reported following the accident but Gardaí in Crumlin are appealing for anyone with information about this crash to contact Crumlin Garda Station on 01-666-6200, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800-666-111, or any Garda station.
