A Man Was Brutally Injured By A Weapon-Wielding Attacker In West Dublin Yesterday

A man in his twenties was rushed to hospital after being violently assaulted by a weapon-wielding attacker in West Dublin yesterday afternoon.

The victim’s hands were badly injured by an attacker’s weapon, possibly a hatchet, in what’s thought was an effort to protect his face. His head also sustained wounds during this attack. 

According to Independent.ie, the incident took place around 5pm on Mill Lane, Palmerstown in West Dublin. Emergency services arrived at the scene shortly after the attack and rushed the victim to Tallaght Hospital.

Gardaí in Clondalkin are currently investigating the incident.
