A new bypass of the Luas tram tracks has opened on College Green in the city.
A video captured by Twitter user @Peteer shows the route which allows those traveling from Pearse Street and the northside to avoid the Luas lines. According to IrishCycle.com, it does not, however, provide access to Dawson Street or Nassau Street.

While shooting the this next video, there was some uncertainty about traffic light filters and pedestrians being unaware of oncoming cyclists…
First pass wasn’t the same. SUV whizzing past. Then waited for right filter to change to full. Doesn’t. Moved forward at last sec to go left. Peds not expecting anything on contra flow. Wasn’t so sure myself. It does work though for East West. For Nassau prob take Luas Track. pic.twitter.com/fEfNxix9kD
