A Status Yellow wind warning has been issued by Met Éireann for the following counties:
- Louth
- Dublin
- Wicklow
- Wexford
- Sligo
- and Donegal
The warning comes as a direct result of the current storm happening in Ireland, Storm Doris. The warning is valid until 7pm this evening.
AA Roadwatch are asking motorists to remember both that high-sided vehicles are particularly vulnerable on open or exposed roads, and that wind blown debris is likely to be a problem on secondary routes in particular.
Dublin Airport has also announced that due to high winds, some flights may be delayed and/or cancelled. More details on this can be found here.
