We got the terrible news on Tuesday that David Bowie had died, and today we receive even more sad tidings.
Actor Alan Rickman has died in London aged 69 after a battle with cancer, according to his family.
He had an absolutely remarkable acting career spanning nearly 45 years, and gave us the best Snape we could ever have hoped for.
RIP, Alan Rickman.
