An Exclusive 'Purple Rain' Screening Will Take Place In Tribute To Prince Next Week

26 guests will get free cocktails and entry to the private cinema on Drury Street

Purple Rain

The outpourings of love continue for the recently deceased superstar Prince, one such tribute being this screening of Purple Rain at Brooks Hotel next week.

Perhaps the virtuoso's best known work, as well as its title track, the life of the artist will be celebrated with a free VIP screening at the hotel's private cinema next Friday, where those in attendance will also be treated to cocktails (the appropriately-titled 'Teelings Raspberry Beret Iced Tea').

For a chance to be one of the lucky 26 cinema goers, simply tweet “A Tribute to Prince @BrookshotelD2” and winners will be chosen randomly.

Purple Rain is a semi-autographical tale of a talented young musician at the dawning of his career. It follows his loves, deals with issues surrounding his father's self-destructive behaviour, and sees him come to grips with his own connection to other people.

The screening takes place on Friday, April 27 at 8pm in Brooks Hotel on Drury Street.
