Bad News For UCD Students Seeking Accommodation

As if finding student accommodation wasn’t hard enough…

Bad news for UCD students hunting for a place to call home this year as there are now 47 less beds available at the university. 

Dominican Order owned Muckross Halls in Donnybrook was leased to UCD for student housing on an annual basis. 

However, the order terminated the agreement with the college as it plans to redevelop the land at Muckross Halls for educational purposes. 

The Irish Times reports that the annual agreement was terminated at “very late notice” ahead of the commencement of the college year.
