The body of a man in his 50s was recovered from a Dublin canal in the early hours of this morning.
Gardaí and emergency services were called to Ninth Lock in Clondalkin at approximately 3am this morning where the body was discovered.
The man was removed by ambulance to Tallaght Hospital but was later confirmed dead.
Gardaí in Ronanstown are investigating the incident, however it is believed the incident is not being treated as suspicious.
