Brill News For The Bank Holiday – The Weather Is Gonna Be Good

katedemolder

This week’s weather has been testing our patience, so news that this weekend is going to be a whole lot nicer and dryer has left us pretty chuffed.

The beauts at MET Éireann had the following to say on the matter:

Saturday: Sunny spells and scattered showers, but most places are likely to see a lot of dry weather. Cool for early August with highest temperatures of 15 to 19 degrees with light to moderate west to northwest breezes.

Saturday night will be mainly dry with clear spells and lows between 8 and 11 degrees.

Sunday will also bring a fair amount of dry and sunny weather, but there will be a few showers also. It will stay quite cool, though it should feel pleasant in sunshine with just light breezes. Highest temperatures of 15 to 18 degrees.

Current indications suggest that Bank Holiday Monday will be mainly dry and bright and that the rain halts just to the southwest of Ireland. Not much wind is expected either in this setup.

So basically, it’ll be nice all the way to Monday – with a light shower or two. We’ll take that!
