The Harbour Hopster Fest is taking place this weekend at the Harbour Bar in Bray and it looks set to be an all-around good time for foodies and craft beer heads alike.
This Saturday and Sunday will see a veritable smorgasbord of fine fare and cold ales down at the Harbour Bar to celebrate the fact that today is International Beer Day. The mini festival will celebrate craft beers, with gorgeous brews from The Wicklow Wolf Brewing Company, O Brother Brewing, Craigies Irish Craft Cider, Rascals Brewing Co. and Radik Ale.
For the foodies, there’s The Big Dog’s Galley, Just Wing It, beautiful hot dogs and melty toasties.
If live music is your bag, you can look forward to Rake The Ashes, Brand New Switcheroo, Mikey McDonnell and Crooked Jack.
The festivities don’t stop there, they’ve also got giant Jenga, ring toss, Pitch-A-Penny and board games. Plus (and this is getting us excited), you can participate in a Beer Pong League later on in the evening as you enjoy the sounds of the legendary Californian tribute band The Back Doors.
On Sunday, The Song Room Presents will take place again. This is a night where some of the finest unsigned artists are welcomed to take to the Bray stage.
By the way, all these events are free so this seems like a pretty sweet deal. The festival will take place from 1pm until 6pm on Saturday and Sunday at The Harbour Bar, 1-4 Dock Terrace, Bray. For more info head over to the Harbour Bar’s Facebook page here.
