Irish Rail has just released the details of their DART and commuter services over Christmas and it could be a lifesaver over the festive period.
They’re bringing back late night trains every weekend until Christmas as well as running after the New Year’s Eve concerts.
So if you’re worried about having to pay a hefty taxi bill or waiting ages in the freezing cold before actually getting one, this could come in seriously handy.
Make sure you check these before heading out…
Fridays and Saturdays, December 7 and 8; 14 and 15; 21 and 22
- 00:30hrs and 01:30hrs from Dublin Pearse serving all stations to Howth
- 00:30hrs and 01:30hrs from Dublin Connolly serving all stations to Greystones
- 00:40hrs and 01:40hrs from Dublin Pearse serving Tara Street, Dublin Connolly, and all stations from Howth Junction to Dundalk
- 00:20hrs and 01:55hrs from Dublin Pearse serving all stations to Maynooth
- 23:50hrs and 01:50hrs from Dublin Pearse serving all stations to Drumcondra, and all stations from ParkWest to Kildare
Monday, December 31 (after New Year’s Eve concerts)
- 01:30hrs and 02:30hrs from Dublin Pearse serving all stations to Howth
- 01:30hrs and 02:30hrs from Dublin Connolly serving all stations to Greystones
- 01:40hrs and 02:40hrs from Dublin Pearse serving Tara Street, Dublin Connolly, and all stations from Howth Junction to Dundalk
- 01:20hrs and 02:55hrs from Dublin Pearse serving all stations to Maynooth

All late night services will also have security on board for passenger safety.
