The clever little elves behind the Dublin Flea and Block T in Smithfield have collaborated to bring you a festive three day extravaganza from today until Sunday. There will be clothes, furniture, vinyl, crafts, bric a brac and lots more in between, ensuring you will find a pressie for even the pickiest of pals. The Nutcracker Suite & The Snow Queen
The Irish National Youth Ballet will perform their hypnotizing take on Tchaikovsky's classics this December this weekend in the Pavilion Theatre in Dun Laoghaire. With a cast of 40 dancers this exciting and magical festive production will enthral audience members of all ages.
Yuletide Greeting @ National Museum Of Ireland
The National Museum of Ireland Archaeology will be running two children's workshops tomorrow, 13th December, centred around Yuletide traditions. Most of the popular Christmas traditions we enjoy have roots in the Viking's mid-Winter celebration of Yule. These free drop-in workshops will school you in all things Yule, and you can even make some cool tree decorations to bring home.

Glen Hansard & Band
Glen Hansard will regroup his full band for a special one-off performance in Vicar Street in aid of the Peter McVerry Trust. The band features members of The Frames, as well as brass and string musicians. Glen has spent most of the year recording and writing the follow-up to last year's brilliant Rhythm and Repose album. All profits from the show will go to the Peter McVerry Trust which was established in 1983 by Fr Peter McVerry to tackle homelessness, drug misuse and social disadvantage. Definitely a fantastic way to spend your Monday night.
