People walking around Dublin this morning are seeing red post boxes pop up around the city, and are left scratching their heads in bemusement.
The green post box has been an Irish symbol for nearly 100 years, while the red post box was always associated with The Royal Mail in the UK. And that link provides the clue to what’s happening…
We don’t have another English invasion on the cards, it is in fact a marketing stunt by An Post to promote their 1916 Rising Exhibition in the GPO.
A super piece of thought-provoking marketing that will have many up in arms before they realise the real reason…
