The One Reason Why You Might Not Watch Conor McGregor's Next Fight

How did this happen...

Conor Mc Gregor Jan

When Conor McGregor fought Floyd Mayweather this time last year, the whole of Ireland stopped to watch it.

Some set the alarms and got up to watch it, while others just stayed up after the night out to see the fight of the century.

In less than two months, the man from Crumlin will face the unbeaten khabib Nurmagomedov in Las Vegas.

However, Katie Taylor will also be fighting on the same date in Chicago as she looks to defend her IBF and WBA World Lightweight belts. There's a two hour time difference between the two American places, Chicago is 6 hours behind while Las Vegas is 8.

Ideally, you'll want to stay up to watch the two bouts but it will probably go one of the following ways...

You'll either:

A) Stay up for both, through the night and die on the Sunday.

B) Wake up for the McGregor fight and fall back asleep.

C) Sleep through your alarm for the McGregor fight and get up for Katie's.

Everyone is going to aim for option a but you just know that only the bravest will storm their way through the tiredness.

All the same, a great day/night for Irish sport.
