As Hurricane Ophelia ravages through the country, people are flooding online for information, support, and some for comic relief.
However, when Conor McGregor’s coach John Kavanagh took to Twitter to weigh in on the storm, it didn’t go down well at all.
The 40-year-old had a tongue-in-cheek approach to the storm that’s taken the lives of three people today, writing: “So…..was that it? looking like a nice evening out there 🙂 #Ophelia”

However Twitter users didn’t get the joke, with dozens taking to the social media site to condemn the comments.
Not a nice evening for the families of the 3 people who died. But as long as you have a nice evening that’s great!
