If you're a public transport user in the city, the chances are you've probably never noticed this one thing that is on every single Dublin Bus.
It's actually obvious once you cop it, but after noticing it for the first time the other day I was curious as to what on earth was its purpose.
If you don't know what I'm talking about, it's that metal pole that is on the front and corner of every single bus.
It's been rolled out across many of their fleets for ages apparently, and it's actually in place to help stop any damage to Dublin Bus as it drives by and hits against trees - which makes a lot of sense.
My mind is blown.
100% you're gonna be noticing this every time you take the bus now...
