2. Passengers
Starring Chris Pratt and Jennifer Lawrence, Passengers has received stunning reviews and is currently rated 7.10/10 on IMDB.
If you’re fascinated by space and love a good sci-fi then you’ll enjoy this one.
3. A Monster Calls
A boy seeks the help of a tree monster to cope with his single mother’s terminal illness.
Starring Toby Kebbell, Liam Neeson and Felicity Jones it currently has a tidy 7.8/10 rating on IMDB.
4. Sully
Directed by Clint Eastwood and starring Tom Hanks, Sully is the story of a pilot who became a hero after landing his damaged plane on the Hudson River saving 155 lives, but is then brought under investigation.
We’re dying to see this one.
5. Why Him?
An overprotective father (Brian Cranston) goes to visit his daughter at university only to discover she’s dating a socially awkward Silicon Valley billionaire (James Franco).
Looks GAS.
6. Manchester by the Sea
With numerous Golden Globe nominations and one big win for Casey Affleck winning Best Actor in a Motion Drama Picture.
The story centres around an uncle who is asked to take care of his teenage nephew after the boy’s father dies.
7. Silence
Two Jesuit priests travel to seventeenth century Japan which has, under the Tokugawa shogunate, banned Catholicism and almost all foreign contact.
Directed by Martin Scorsese and starring Andrew Garfield and Adam Driver, it currently has a 7.6/10 rating on IMDB.
