The glammest and most important event of the year will take place in Dublin next week.
And here’s why it’s beyond important that you go and support….
Most of you are probably aware of the recent horrifying violations of the human rights of gay men being kidnapped and tortured in anti-gay camps in Chechnya, Russia.
To raise much-needed funds for The Russian LGBT Network, DRAIG AID will take over Dublin next week.
Take place in the Generator Hostel, Smithfield next Thursday, April 27 from 9pm, the evening promises a spectacular line-up of Dublin’s best drag acts as well as a table quiz to test your musical knowledge.

Familiar faces from Dublin’s drag scene such as Victoria Secret, Davina Devine and Bunny will be making appearances on the night, performing some of the greatest hits by the biggest stars of all time.
Dublin queen, Bonnie Ann Clyde will be spearheading the event.
“Having heard what was happening in Chechnya, we felt so strongly about getting out and actually doing something for these people. We all have to do what we can because at the end of the day no one else is going to. As drag queens, we are given an opportunity to bring people together for a cause and have fun while doing it. It’s what we do well, so a drag show was the most obvious option for us.”

Tickets are only a tenner and can be bought on the door on the night — check out the full event here.
Drag Dollars can be purchased to tip your favourite queens as they perform.
