Both Flight FR8557 from Berlin to Dublin Airport and Flight FR8559 from Berlin to Dublin Airport will not be going ahead today as planned.

Meanwhile, travellers flying across Europe may face major disruptions due to a strike by French air traffic controllers.

According to Dublin Live, staff at control centres in Brest, Aix-en-Provence and Bordeaux called a five-day strike on Monday over issues including rostering and pay.

Ryanair spokesman Kenny Jacobs noted that the level of the disruptions is unclear as of right now, but mentioned that the firm will contact all affected passengers if it is forced to reschedule or cancel any more flights.
