Whoever runs the Dublin Airport Twitter account clearly had enough of hearing accusations like this.
In response to an article about airport charges, one disgruntled Twitter user claimed that Dublin Airport has been attempting to restrict Cork Airport's development.
"
Dublin Airport you are deliberately restricting the ability of @CorkAirport to grow and provide a decent international service to the people of Munster," the person tweeted.
Dublin Airport was having absolutely none of it and responded a couple of hours later by completely rejecting the accusation with the below reply.

The figures quoted by Dublin Airport are not wrong and Cork Airport prides itself on being Ireland's fastest growing airport.
Cork Airport is currently in the midst of its busiest weekend of the year as 45,000 passengers are expected to pass through over the Bank Holiday weekend, with many in town for the annual Guinness Jazz Festival.
