PIC: Man “Whispers” Very Creepy Comment In Dublin ATM Queue And Receives The Perfect Response

Darragh Berry

You know those encounters when you’re in a full blown argument with someone and they say something to you that just makes you take a step back.

Or someone says a random comment to you and you just have no reply.

But – later that night or two weeks later on a random Tuesday, the perfect comeback comes into your head and you go “fuck itttttt, why couldn’t I have thought of that at the time, it’s brilliant.

Step forward your new hero: Sarah-Jane Murphy.

The journalist and court reporter was queuing for the ATM in Dalkey when a man made a creepy, passing comment to her.

And her response was pure quick, a pure bluff but one that will have knocked the sails out of the commenter.

While most of us would be left baffled by a comment like: “I love to see a woman wearing a short skirt,” Sarah-Jane quickly said: “I’ll let your wife know. I know her well.”

Cue oncoming embarrassment and shame for the man in question.

Of course, people were quick to ask Sarah-Jane if she knew the man’s wife but she was just full on bluffing.

We don’t know what’s more creepy about this situation: The comment itself or the fact that it was whispered to her.
