The Irish Independent has published CCTV footage of various attacks on a new business in Dublin.
Camellia Nails & Spa on Botanic Road in Glasnevin only opened on May 21, but since day one, it has been the victim of appalling abuse.
The people who are continuing to vandalise the shop want to see it shut down and “young thugs” have tried their best to destroy the shop both in the night and during the day.
Recently, a gang of men burst into the salon in the broad daylight and trashed the place while staff members watched on.
Footage shows the men entering the premises as well as the destruction caused afterwards. Also, there is footage of two young people on bikes with one throwing a rock at the window several times.
The owner was sent a message on Social Media which read: “Get out of Dublin 9.”
“It is obviously an intimidation from someone who doesn’t want us to open the shop in the area.
“It is obviously an intimidation from someone who is not happy when we are running a good business. I hope the gardai will find out soon and we will be safe by then.”
Gardaí are currently examining the CCTV footage.
