It was only a matter of time before we started seeing some cool drone videos popping up from Dublin. Now that drones are available at a pretty low cost for commercial use and can be fitted with HD cameras we can expect much more of this type of footage. These videos took advantage of the amazing weather recently and captured the gorgeous harbour and village out in Howth. Although they are clearly just test videos you still get a unique perspective that you normally only see for a couple of seconds while landing on the plane. The possibilities for this technology and the videos made using it are endless and we really can’t wait to see more slick videos of Dublin from the air. You have to say that these film makers are slightly behind the criminals though who have been using them too! Fecking awesome.
Deerpark
This 2nd video isn’t as spectacular as the first one but it offers a unique view further along the coast from Deerpark castle and golf course.
